| Goodbye, Farewell, and AmenI have decided to officially say goodbye to Xanga. I'll still keep my membership so I can read others' blogs but I won't be posting on here anymore. The reasons for this are simple. I don't write as much as I used to, no one reads, and I'm using the myspace blogs a lot more. It's been a fun time, but time to go.
As part of my farewell, I've put together a nice montage of some of my favorite quotes from previous blogs. You'll need to play Sarah McLoughlin's "I will Remember You" while you read this next part. I'll wait.....................................................Ready? OK.

| Workin'So, I've been on the job for a week now and I love it. For those of you that don't know, I am working in Athletic Media Relations at Morehead State and I'm really enjoying it. I am the main contact for soccer and I am getting a lot of experience that will help me when I get my masters. One thing I don't like though is down time. I am the type of guy that gets tasks done fast so when I blow through a day's work in 4 hours I have a lot of time on my hands. If I work slow, I feel lazy.
Hopefully, I will have a lot to do once sports seasons start back up. | | |
| Christian DemocratI am a born-again evangelical Christian. Let that be known. But also, let it be known that I am a progressive Democrat. How can these two aspects of my life coexist? Well, watch this speech by Sen Barack Obama and you'll see. It's kind of long but worth it.

I hope this guy runs for president.

| Back from VacationWell, after a wonderful week in the beautiful Outer Banks of North Carolina; specifically Hatteras Island, I am finally home. Morehead has never seemed more boring. Also, I got the job with MSU Athletics and I start on the 15th. Thank you Lord for the new job!

| UpdatesI had a meeting with the people at MSU Athletics and it looks like the intership is mine, just pray that it truly is and I'm not just hoping in vain.
In other news: It's exactly one week until the start of vacation and by next Saturday I will be in sunny North Carolina exposing my fat self to the sun on Hatterass Island.
I got a fun e-mail a few weeks ago too. Someone that went to high school with me e-mailed me through Myspace and invited me to a Georgetown High School alumni party. I made up some excuse as to why I couldn't go, but I thought to myself -- why would I want to go? I hated high school, and I do mean HATED it. Why would I want to hang out with people who made my life miserable for 4 years? I mean seriously, all the people at this thing were the ones who never went away and I had no desire to see them. Maybe I'll go to my 10 year reunion but until that time no high school reminders for me.
